From the filthy and soaked ashes of B-Son (Black Shape Of Nexus) arise Bellrope, a band who dub themselves as the total absence of tonal sanity. Their actions are described as Amp hauling. Amp abusing and its quite obvious directly from the start of their debut You Must Relax that this band really mean what they say. One of the noisest openings I have heard and it really gives your eardrums a massage to prepare you for what to come. This is like taking an orange habanero slice just to stimulate the synapses of your tongue to make the main dishes taste so much more intense. Sludge doom noise where you find vocalist Arne Heesch making a dueling vocal part with Yvonnne Ducksworth, from Treedeon, on TD 200. Then the album ends with CBD/ Hereinunder with a long repetitive trance-inducing riffage that you just plainly don’t want to end. Ever.
