Regain Records 2004 release on black vinyl

These guys haven’t yet strayed very far from their blackened thrashing rock’n roll music and doesn’t seem to be planning any change in the near future. Atrocities In A-Minor houses exactly the material you would expect from Bewitched, fast, thrash based, catchy riffs supported by powerful drumming and aggressive vocals. The opening track The Devil’s Children is one of the best songs that Bewitched has ever presented and it is such a whirlwind of thrashing music that leaves you thinking “Wow I have spent another of my 4 minutes in a hurry,” in the end. With Holy Whore and Cremation Of The Cross they keep on going full speed, never much lowering the tempo to draw a more colorful picture. They have included not a single average riff here, not one. The music just draws you closer to itself as you realize your jaw is clenched and your head has begun to swing back and forward slowly. The remaining three tracks are recorded live, Rise Of The Antichrist from the album of the same title and Blade Of The Ripper and Born Of Flames from their first album, Diabolical Desecration, all showing that the live performance is also matching their studio performance and Bewitched is not a band whose music needs a lot of make-up in the post-production. Aggressive and extremely easy going, highly recommended for especially the fans of the Black and Thrash Metal genre.
