2007 cd release

Bizex-B from Gavle had, like many other punk bands, a short and intense existence. They were formed in 1980 and lasted to the spring of 1983. However during these three years they managed to release two highly sought after albums. The English punk scene hit the Swedish newspaper in 1977 with pictures of how London punks looked like. This ofcourse started a massive punk scene in Sweden as well. No everyone wanted to be provocative and punk. PF Commando was Gavle’s answer to Sex Pistols and the band that recorded Swedens first punk album. Bizex B was another band that wanted to play punk after hearing Sex Pistols. They did their first live show opening up for PF Commando and that set the whole thing rolling. In 1981 the band recorded and released their debut release, a cassette tape called Äntligen. In December the same year they recorded their first album, Vi Lever, and it was released in early 1982. The album was financed with the help of the Study association/Studiefrämjandet and 250 copies were pressed. Between the tape and the first album they also managed to do two shows with KSMB. A second album, En Våldtäkt I Vinyl, was recorded in 1983 but the band split in the spring of 1983 and the album was released after the band had split. This band has become legendary with years and has after their split up been called both Oi! Punk and Street Punk, labels that werent even in excistens back in the early 80s.
