2017 press on black vinyl with gatefold cover, poster and bonus single

Formed in 1977 by strangely named vocalist and lead guitarist Siki Spacek, Ohio’s Black Death arguably hold the distinction of being the world’s first all-African-American heavy metal band. The group slowly gained a local following, but found it difficult maintaining a stable line-up, so that their first and only album — also called Black Death and featuring second guitarist Greg Hicks, bassist Darrell Harris, and drummer Phil Bullard — only emerged in 1984. Black Death vanished from sight only a short time later and has not been heard from since.
