Description

Quorthon received permission from the Tyfon Grammofon label (which was owned by his father Börje Boss Forsberg) to use his own proxy-label on all Bathory albums, along with a unique 666-X serial number, starting with the self-titled debut album from 1984, but the actual label was not founded as a separate entity before 1991. Black Mark then specialized in extreme metal and many young Swedish metal bands were signed by the label. Even though the label forever will be best known for the Bathory releases they had quite an impressive roster with acts such as Necrophobic, Morgana Lefay, Edge Of Sanity, Lake Of Tears, Invocator, Memento Mori, Tad Morose to name a few. The label importance in heavy metal history cant be denied and this dvd features some of the promotional videos the label released between 1994 and 1997 which makes it a fun ride down the memory lane.
