Founded 1994 as a pure, old-school Black Metal band, Gelsenkirchen’s Black Messiah developed to incorporate diverse influences after the first album and turned into a more viking black metal act. Zagan recorded the debut album ‘Sceptre Of Black Knowledge’, utilising session drums from Nabahm (Goat Of Mendes) and guitarist on some of the tracks would be none other than Sodom and Kreator veteran Frank ‘Blackfire’ Gosdzik.
