Black Propaganda from Turin, Italy was formed back in 2007 and their second album Psychological Subjection follows in the same pattern as their debut. What we have here is thrash metal with some modern influences. The songs is changing rhythm very frequently and they have a singer that sounds like Phil Anselmo on their debut while he decided to ad more sounds and screams this time around. Music wise and in arrangements it feels like the band is influenced by Tom Araya and Co as well as Pantera. And when the hidden track, System Down, starts you think you will hear a cover version of Hell Awaits. However its not just Pantera and Slayer. There are tracks that borders on death metal while others has some fine grooves. Fans of modern and multifaceted thrash should give this a try.
