Black Symphony from Los Angeles stared back in 1992. Back then they had ex-Jack Starr and Riot vocalist Rhett Forrester in the band. With Rhett they recorded a 3-song demo together in 1992 as The Black Symphony. After the members had recovered from the murder of their friend and singer Rhett Forrester in January of 1994 the band decided to continue but shortened the band to just Black Symphony. Their second album Tears Of Blood was released in 2001 and its an awesome and very consistent album. Awesome shredding riffs and guitar solos are accompanied by some excellent drumming. It's a fairly progressive album, but don't get turned off by that. The guitar work is truly a highlight. Theres absolutely no bad songs on this album, and each is just as good as the other. It's extremely hard to pick out the best songs of the album, but if forced, I'd say Black Symphony Pt. II would be the standout. It's finishing solo just sums up the album. The album is actually best when you play it from start to finish. It's got fairly intelligent lyrics, and the entire album tends to stay within a similar theme. Track listing: 1.
