Description
Limited deluxe box set with the limited digipack cd with bonus dvd, a bag with the cover artwork on, 4 buttons, a certificate and a printed canvas with the cover artwork put into a 3D polystone frame Blackmore's Night eight studio album Dancer And The Moon, is one excellent album, they put it all together here, sure they still do their renaissance type music, but this is more upbeat on this one. We get Somewhere Over The Sea (The Moon Is Shining), great vocals by Candice and very good guitar by Ritchie, nice bouncy number. Love their version of the Uriah Heep classic Lady In Black, nice flute and it gallops good. Last Leaf, is a nice stunning tune, Troika, has a great lift, I Think It's Going To Rain Today, is a song that many of today's artists might like, the mid-evil stomp of the title track, Galliard, a nice instrumental, very good orchestration. They cover the old Rainbow tune The Temple Of The King, a nice selection for Candice's voice and a nice tribute to ex-Purple mate the late Jon Lord on Carry On…Jon. This is their best album since Secret Voyage. The bonus dvd contains 4 acoustic numbers The Ashgrove, The Spinner's Tale, Queen For A Day, Somewhere Over the Sea and an interview section.
