Metal Hall of Fame inductee, Blaze Bayley, 2024 album, Circle Of Stone, features guest vocalist Niklas Stalvind of Swedish metalheads Wolf, alongside a variety of additional vocal and instrumental contributors. Early in 2023, and in fact just 2 days before the start of a European tour, Blaze suffered a serious heart attack. Quadruple bypass surgery followed and after several months of this roller-coaster year, Blaze has returned. Circle Of Stone is a work of two halves according to Blaze himself. Side one comprises six unconnected songs that describe human frailty, resilience, courage, and gratitude, commented Blaze, while side two contains six connected songs that tell the story of our forgotten tribe; a search for the truth in the heart of the circle of tall stones. And after listening to the album its clear that our beloved Blaze Bayley did it again, delivering top-of-the-line, soulful and electrifying heavy metal in Circle Of Stone for our total delight. This album is a bold statement of his undeniable passion for heavy music.
