With the dissolution of both Cream and Traffic, guitarist Eric Clapton, drummer Ginger Baker and frontman Steve Winwood joined forces with ex Family bassist Ric Grech to form the shortlived supergroup Blind Faith in May 1969. They got immediate success and opened up for Rolling Stones and sold enormous quantities of their first and only album. Even despise this the band called it aday within a year.
