Trust me when I say that this album will get your attention right from the start. The reason is simple. It starts with a deep guttural scream from the very depth of hell. This is blasting war metal mixed with fierce death metal. The musical aspects are of simplistic, harsh, ugly and extremely brutal, often fast, disturbing and it shows no mercy. Like something taken straight from the old Beherit or Blasphemy recordings. The Cavernous Ritual Temple isnt a masterspiece of any kind but its surely good enough to give it an occasional spin if you want a maelstrom of chaos and evil.
