Reflections From An Unseen World is the fourth album by Blue Dawn, Genoa’s finest occult band and their best todate. The sound of the album, which ranges from heavy doom to more progressive tracks, embellished by Bruzzi’s keyboard touches and flamboyant yet emotional solos, on songs built on powerful and dark riffs valued by the gothic voice of singer Monica Santo. The album features some important special guests too: Italian underground legend Mercy (Malombra, Il Segno Del Comando, Ianva), who sings on the track Shades, James M. Jason (Gothic) who sings and plays piano on Hostage Of Grudge and the fabulous cover of Black Sabbath’s Who Are You and multi instrumentalist FulvioPereda, who plays Mellotron and tablas on Shades. Blue Dawns big personality is all over the record, giving us a heavy, yet varied, sound as the band is known for, but more focused and homogenous than before. An album not to be missed, by everybody who loves classic Sabbath, but also more modern bands like Tool, Triptykon and Il Segno Del Comando.
