While the 777 series began in a frenzied chaos, it slowly went down into cavernous depths and dragged the listener deeper down into darker more ominous passages right to the edge of the abyss. The third and final part in the trilogy, Cosmosophy, picks up right after you were dropped into a black hole and left wondering whats next at the end of 777 The Desacntification. It starts off leaving you with the feeling of waking up in a strange universe, with some sad feeling to the opening riffs, then it builds up into a roar of new territory. Clean vocals. Yes. But they way it has been done with this chapter of Blut Aus Nord is genius. You wont even miss the harsh vocals, this release takes off on a new journey to a new universe. Just jump on board and go along for the trip. I love this.If you can imagine a metal soundtrack for the film Prometheus, or just the Alien/Prometheus universe, this would totally fit. If this is what the goal of Blut Aus Nord has been all along, it has been achieved. If there are more Blut Aus Nord releases to come, I hope they are continuations of this release. This is really very good, worth the wait, and worth every cent spent on it.
