Bon Jovi recorded live at Borgata Hotel Casino And Spa in 2003 where they performs a number of songs from their popular back catalogue. Includes: ‘You Give Love A Bad Name’, ‘Keep The Faith’, ‘Wanted Dead Or Alive’, ‘Always’, ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’, ‘Joey’ and many more. However even though it sounds like a greatest hits package it comes with a twist. The reason why it is so special is because the set up of their instruments acoustically, and the number of different instruments used throughout the show, is not something they can do on tour. So the band recorded it, so that people who couldn’t see them live do get to see what happened at that show – and it is great. It was inspired to re-record their famous songs in a new, refreshing way. It presents new meaning onto the songs, and make us feel like we are hearing them again for the first time. This is not an energetic show, Jon doesn’t run around here. It is an intimate setting, and when Jon chats to the crowd he is funny and inventive and interesting. Another songs worth mentioning is the first release of the songs Last Man Standing and Thief Of Hearts, previously unreleased Bon Jovi songs. They are good, but you’ll have to let them grow on you.
