Brutal Truth is an American grindcore band from Rochester, New York, formed by ex-Anthrax, Nuclear Assault, and Stormtroopers Of Death bass guitarist Dan Lilker in 1990. The band signed early on to Earache Records, on where they released the single “Ill Neglect” in 1992. With this and the “Perpetual Conversion” 7″ as well as the debut album “Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses” the band immediately raised the bar for grindcore with its intensity and aggressiveness.
