2018 edition with new cover artwork and new title

This was the first Budgie book that was released with the name “Budgie’s First Three Albums”. For the second edition, printed in 2018, it was re-named, Back To The Egg: Budgie’s Influential Early Years 1967-73. This version also had a new and rearranged text, including further information about the early days based on a 1997 interview with Burke Shelley. There are also more than 100 new images, including a new chapter with 20 previously unseen offstage photos taken circa 1968/69 by early road manager Howard Coates. The book has 221 pages, 55,000 words and 375 images. It’s printed in full colour on high-quality 115gsm gloss paper. Written in English
