A re-recording of Sepulturas first EP, Bestial Devastation, done by the two Cavalera brothers, Max and Igor is nothing but miraculous. The two, with the help of Max son and Dan from Possessed have managed to record a modern but still dirty enough production which makes this release relevant to the 21st century while in some way still keepings its primitive charm. The album has finally been given the facelift it deserved. The recording does the original recording justice ; its still primitive but sounds much clearer and powerful and you will hear nuances and lyrics on these 35+ year old songs that you never knew were there in the original Sepultura releases. The songs are powerful, and the production is incredible – like they were recorded in the 80s but with modern equipment. Simply a jaw dropping excellence.
