A re-recording of Sepulturas first album, Morbid Visions, done by the two Cavalera brothers, Max and Igor is nothing but miraculous. Anyone that found out about Sepultura late or are following Max in Soulfly and Cavalera have probably not spent so much time listening to Morbid Visions in its original form. The original recording was raw but with this re-recording it finally gets the facelift it deserves. Its still raw but the modern sound makes it thick and thunderous with Max’s vocals sounding awesome on here. The two Cavalera brothers, with the help of Max son and Dan from Possessed have managed to record a modern album while still keeping it primitive and nasty . The modern production is powerful and clear. Morbid Visions sounds better without having lost its brutality.
