Celtic Frost are one of the most important and influential metal bands ever, yes they are up there with Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden in terms of their influence on the development of metal, especially black and death metal ,but they were also a major influence on future doom bands. They where true pioneers in ever sense and this double album compilation covers most of the classic stuff from the debut Morbid Tales, the utterly wonderful To Mega Therion, the seminal 1987 Into The Pandamomium up to the Vanity/Nemesis album. This is a good starting point for new fans. If you havent checked this band out then its about time. You want regret it
