Centurion was an obscure act from Ohio, Cleveland that released one full length album (in 1987) during their 5 years of existence. The album, Cross And Black, is delivering a dark, almost doomy, traditional heavy metal music that is sharing many elements with Manilla Road, Black Sabbath and Metal Church. The rough sound is blended with an epic attitude. Fans of US power metal fans need to check this out. This cd release comes with 2 bonus tracks that were written for 2 compilations: Peacefully that can be found on the Northcoast Steel: Cleveland Heavy Metal (from Northcoast Records in 1988) and Be Warned that was released on the Convicted To The Avant Garde compilation (from Underground Express in 1989).
