The Cinderella debut album ‘Night Songs’, produced by Andy Johns, wound up being recorded using ex-Stone Fury drummer Jody Cortez in the place of Drnc who, according to producer Johns, couldn’t cut it. The album was released in July of 1986 and sales of the record soon went through the roof. Much of this was thanks to high-profile tours as special guests to David Lee Roth and Bon Jovi and accompanying, MTV assisted hit singles in ‘Shake Me’ and ‘Nobody’s Fool’. Nobodys Fool gave the band their first single in the charts. It peaked at #13 in 1987, one below peers Motley Crue with “Girls Girls Girls” and alongside Poison’s “I Won’t Forget You” that same year. Jon Bon Jovi did background vocals on Nothin for nothin and In from the outside.
