Black vinyl

Two of Finland’s best and truest bands return with a vengeance on this oddly formatted split. The release features seven tracks, five of which are collaboration between both bands. The entire split in the sound that is to be expected from these groups: raw, hateful black metal in its darkest and purest form. Tracks 1-4 feature both band’s members playing together (M and Nazgul taking turns on vocals). Tracks 5 and 6 are in the more traditional form for each squadron, as we are given a slower, lengthy song from Clandestine Blaze with some excellent screams, and a lengthy song from Satanic Warmaster. After all is said and done, the outro (another collaboration), finishes it all off in the usual form, bringing together 45 minutes of cold, dissonant Black Metal the way it was meant to be.
