Special import. Classic Rock is a British magazine dedicated to rock music, and its a sister publication to Metal Hammer and Prog. Although firmly focusing on key bands from the 1960s through early 1990s, it also includes articles and reviews of contemporary and upcoming artists it deems worthy of note. Despite starting as an on-off project in 1998 it became one of the UK’s best selling music magazines. It has very detailed main articles and also features music news, record reviews, discographies, bios etc…It also has tons of the best unpublished photos. A must for the collector.
This issue has 100 pages written in English and features an interview with Bruce Dickinson on his return and his first Iron Maiden album for seven years, Brave New World (12 pages with Iron Maiden). Also an interesting story about the recording of Aerosmith’s Permanent Vacation album. If you want to hear about what drugs can do to you and the band then these 6 pages are something to read. When Mr Tyler says “I once had three Porsches and sold them all so ic ould snort up half of Peru, then you realize this isnt a glamours business. You also have interviews or articles about Bush (4 pages), Danny Vaughn from Waysted/Tyketto (1 page), John Martyn (6 pages), Dream Theater (6 pages) and a big review section (among them the first review of Brave New World) and more. Highly recommended to pop and rock lovers
