Description

Concerto Moon is among the more successful Japanese Metal acts and their guitarist Norifumi Shima is the principle attraction of the band. He shows a technically driven yet musical display of sweep picking lines and scale runs, as well as plenty of solid power metal riffs. Concerto Moon is heavily influenced by guitar god Yngwie Malmsteen and neo-classical power metal bands like Stratovarius. After three successful studio albums their label thought it was a good idea to release a live album and to give the fans something extra they decided to include a new studio track, When The Moon Cries. The band is in top form at this Tokyo gig but unfortunately the technicians at the arena seems to have a bad day as the singer is very low in the mix. They run through some magnificent tracks like, “King Of The Judas” and “Victim Of Desire” with awesome guitars. Overall it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. Such a splendid band in front of a dedicated crowd in Tokyo and then we get a singer thats way to low in the mix.
