When Coroner returned in 2025 with Dissonance Theory it was not only a great comeback, they also released one fo their best albums ever. Many bands that make a new album after more than a decade or longer, seem to miss a step. However that is not the case with Dissonance Theory, this is well crafted filled with aggression, groove, hooks, and progressive touches. The band and their dialed-in co-creators went above and beyond to give their fans an exceptional thrash metal album and exceeded far beyond reasonable expectations. Definitely one of, if not the best, of 2025. They manage to sound like themselves yet completely fresh, and each song has its own identity. No filler; all killer and a proof that the Coroner legacy is far from over
