Cryptorium recorded their one and only demo, Cryptic Bloodlust, in their rehearsal room in Orminge Stockholm on the 13th of May 2023. This is old school death with a lot of influences from the classic Swedish scene with a guitar tone that sounds very much like the Stockholm scene did back in the early 90s. However they are not a copycat of Dismember or Entombed. The music sounds more chaotic like early Deicide. This debut demo was made in only 20 copies and still it managed to secure a record deal for the band who released their debut album, Descent Into Lunacy, in 2024. The band re-recorded one of the tracks, Schizophrenic, during the recording session for their full length album. However the band felt that the newly penned material were far better than their first four demo tracks so none of them made it onto their debut. So all tracks on here are exclusive for this release. Cryptorium clearly added something to the new wave of Swedish death metal scene. So if you cant get enough of bands that pays tribute to the old gods then check this out
