33 years after their 1985 Reign Of Evil album, the Dutch metal act Dark Wizard returned with their sophomore album Close In The Dark. Those who have heard their self titled EP or their Reign Of Evil album will recognize the bands dark brand of heavy metal. Great guitar leads, cool riffs and strong vocal melodies and the man that were able to resurrect the band, Egbert Berenst, are also the bands new vocalist and he does a great job. Bring this together and you have a band that sound better than ever. Fans of the band knows what to do and even those who missed this band in the 80s and love pure heavy metal with a dark touch should check this out
