If you want to follow in The Hives footsteps, you need big shoes. With twitching hips and wearing polished Chelsea boots, four Swedes in the indie rock/garage band DeStijl tried to pick up the trail. The White Stripes already demonstrated their reference to the Dutch art movement De Stijl with the name of their second album. An art concept that stands for simple elegance, simple ingredients and a clear geometric order. For the young combo from Gothenburg, connection is also part of the program. The quartet around singer Joakim Kaminsky instinctively rummages through the wardrobe of the 1960s and brings out surprisingly outdated things. This two track promo single features two tracks from the bands 2002 debut album, Yeahvolution.
