Degraded is a melodic death metal band from Stockholm that were formed in 2001 under the name of Septima however when the band got into leagal issue regarding their band name they changed to Degraded in the spring of 2007. This is a band that features Anders Nyström from Bloodbath, Bewitched, Diabolical Masquerade and Katatonia on guitar. The band were contacted by In Flames member Jesper Strömblad who were interested to produce the bands debut album, Til Death Do Us Apart, that was released in 2008. Their fourth album The Monster Within was released in 2013 and the band has been very consistent in their sound and this fourth album shows a band that still worship at the altar of In Flames and Soilwork and vocalist Mikael Sehlin, also vocalist for Engel, does his best when he busts out his inhuman roars and fierce screams. The band also incorporates lots of upbeat thrash rhythms while still being melodic. If you can’t get enough of the melodic death/thrash sound from Sweden, The Monster Within is worth your time and money. This promo features 4-tracks from the coming album
