Finnish cult act Demolition 23 was founded by Hanoi Rocks members Michael Monroe and Sami Yaffa in New York in 1993. The band released one self titled album a year later and that piece of art was produced by Little Steven Van Zandt. The group broke up in 1995. But when Michael Monroe put up his 60th Birthday Bash at the Ice Stadium in Helsinki in September of 2022 he reunited Demolition 23 to perform as a support act. Michael Monroe says: The Demolition 23 reunion at the Helsinki Ice Stadium was so cool and so much fun that we started talking about doing some more shows in the future. So then in the autumn of 2023 it happened. The band we’re playing a short tour of six gigs in Finland. This album was recorded at the Tavastia club in Helsinki on the 6th of October and Michael Monroe, Sami Yaffa, Nasty Suicide and Karl Rockfist showed what a true rock ‘n’ roll show can be when they played the sold out Tavastia club. This night was the epitome of what a rock ‘n’ roll show should be
