Derribos Arias was a Spanish punk-rock/new wave band of the 80s, framed in the cultural movement known as La Movida. The band has a sound thats both raw and chaotic and sometimes melodic and sometimes cacophonous. The band was heavily influenced by postpunk, punk and psychedelia, as well as adding some absurd humour. Derribos Arias was together with Glutamato Ye-Ye so ulike any of the other Spanish band at the time and they tried to stay totally from the pop melodies that flooded the Spanish FM radio stations at the time.
