A Swedish based Christian outfit, Desert Rain were fronted by Canadian vocalist Brian Frank, who had previously been the lead vocalist with cult early 1980s Canuck Metal band Rapid Tears. When Desert Rain split, after the release of this only album in 1991, Frank and bassist Anders Ronnblom formed Killer Bee. Drummer Steven Ranzow subsequently joined Espinoza. ‘Bang Bang’ is a well done Scandinavian AOR disc with nice melodies. Its nothing new musically at all but still have its moments and even reminds a bit in style of the band Roxanne. Certainly very difficult to find and only released on this small Swedish Hem records.
