Rare 1985 pressed split album featuring Dokken on one side and Dio on the other. Side A with Dokken were recorded at the Holllywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California on April 6th, 1985. Dokken were out on their Tooth And Nail tour and during these early months in 1985 they were opening up for Sammy Hagar on his VOA tour. Sammy Hagar had to be careful because Dokken, were extremely impressive at the time. Tooth and Nail was a strong album that featured some solid radio singles. These 6 tracks was the common set list the band had during this opening tour and the recording is from a radio broadcast (and so is Dio on the second side), so you know the sound quality has to be pretty darn good. The Dokken show is complete on this album while unfortunately the Dio show isnt. It was recorded at the Kiefer Uno Lakefront Arena in New Orleans on the 1st of October 1985 when Dio was out on his magical mythical metal Sacred Heart tour 1985. On this tour he had Rough Cutt as support act and on these four tracks we hear the magic voice of Dio in front of 4800 people in New Orleans
