In 1987, after three albums, the San Francisco hardrock band Dirty Looks managed to sign a major record deal with Atlantic Records. The result was Cool From The Wire, an album that peaked on the 134 spot on Billboard 200. The track Oh Ruby got a lot of airplay on rock radio stations and MTV while the track, Not The Way You Rock was used in the film Johnny Be Good. The band went out on tour the same year to promote the album and both the album and tour won over new fans to the bands signature Ac/dc bluesy rock style. The tour featured vocalist/guitarist Henrik Ostergaard, guitarist Paul Lidel, bassist Jack Pyers, and drummer Gene Barnett. On July 9th in 1988 the band performed at the Sundance Bayshore Club in New York, a show that was captured on the local radio WVAV station. You will get lots of tunes from the new album, led by the late and great vocalist Henrik Ostergaard. An album full of high-energy hard rock tunes which makes it a must for fans of the band.
