I find that as Metalcore becomes a more accepted genre within the Metal community, there is more distain for it at the same time. Perhaps one day a band will be able to meld the two genres so successfully that many of the nay sayers will be swayed, accepting it as a legitimate genre. Dishporia is not that band, and won’t change anyone’s opinions about the genre one way or the other. If you’re already a fan though, you might want to jump all over this release. Filled with everything you’d expect out of a Metalcore release, ‘Sleep And Fly Away… You'll Be Tortured Forever’ is just what you’re looking for. Fast passed aggressive riffs, high pitched vocals along side high pitched wailing guitars, tons of breakdowns, even some clean vocals are found on this. Outside of that, you already know what to expect. Far from the most original band you’re going to hear, Disphoria is good for a few spins if you’re a dedicated fan of the genre, or if you’re a new comer as well. Track listing: 1. Destructive Rage 2.
