Another amazing album by the Norwegian avante garde masters! Although Khvost (Matt Mcnerny) on Supervillain Outcast was an amazing addition it is great to have Bjorne Denker (Aldrahn) back on vocals. The album was to convey melancholy. It delivers and is going to be uncomfortable for new listeners. For the veterans who understand what Dodheimsgard represents they will be satisfied completely. For years we were teased by Yusef Parvez (Victonik) about double album concepts and trashing song after song. The recording is different, as are all DHG albums and it shows how far black metal has come since 2007. This album is a perfect addition to the DHG discography.
