Description

Warrant was the debut release from the New Jersey-based hardcore band Dog Eat Dog. When the Warrant EP came out in 1993 it was said that Dog Eat Dog sounded a lot like Leeway. The band wasnt trying to sound like Leeway though they all were fans of the band and Leeway certainly had an influence on Dog Eat Dog. After the EP hit the stores, Dog Eat Dog toured Europe with Bad Brains. Darryl Jenifer from the Brains would eventually appear on Dog Eat Dog’s debut album, All Boro Kings, an album that would become a smash hit throughout Europe, and Dog Eat Dog even won Breakthrough Artists of the Year at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 1995.
