2022 vinyl release on blue vinyl

Don Dokken returned to the studio in 2008 for the well-received Dokken album Lightning Strikes Again. The album proved to be their highest charting outing in years. Don Dokken also recorded an acoustic rock album called Solitary. Don stated; The labels do not understand this album. Even though Robert Plant has done a similar record, most labels are afraid to release a mellow peaceful record like this. I think they are afraid my fans won’t understand the music. I am very proud of this body of work. The songs come from my heart and it was a chance to show a different side of me. The Solitary album was only sold on cd directly to fans that were attending his small run of acoustic dates that Don performed while opening for Queensryche. The album showcases Dokken’s powerful vocals on a mix of original songs and cover versions
