Description

So Eric Peterson from Testament decides to create a symphonic black metal project and Dragonlord is born in 2001. 16 years down the line and its time for the bands third album, Dominion. This time Peterson is teamed up with Leah McHenry from Canada for the female vocal parts and Hatriot drummer Alex Bent. Still with the band since the beginning is Lyle Livingston (Psypheria and Enthroned). Dragonlord still mixes Petersons thrash metal roots with the symphonic black metal parts and it still very much comparable with later Dimmu Borgir. Eric does most of the vocals while Leah does the choir parts. This time it feels very much like a solo project where Eric works as the lead and rhythm guitarist, bassist, and vocals. Erics voice really suites dark music but I wouldnt mind if they would have used Leah more on this recording.
