Pang records had some brilliant and collectable hard rock and heavy metal releases during the 80s but when you check out the 70s then there were a small label that released some obscurities that where quit heavy for its time and that was Efel. Both Pang and Efel were labels that were advertising that anyone were welcome to record and release a single against payment. While Pang managed to get punk and metal bands like Asta Kask, Sabotage and Keen Hue during the 80s, Efel managed to release singles with Swedish bands like Alexander Lucas, Ebba Gron, Blueset, Uppat Vaggarna and Frozen Fire. Efel advertisement was something like ‘Call and record a vinyl. A nice vinyl for your 50th birthday or for your football teams anniversary’. So with almost no distribution its not strange that most of these bands and artists disappeared after just one single. And as you expect whenever you find and buy a single on Efel you really don’t know what you get. Two of the rarest and most sought for singles on this label are the progressive/heavy metal act Alexander Lucas and this the debut single by Ebba Gron. Ebba Gron read the Efel advertisement called in and the label wanted to read the lyrics. The label replied to the band that they were welcome to call and book studio time but they would probably not be that well received with the type of lyrics they had’. They got a studio time at 9:00 o’clock in the morning and had managed to borrow enough money to rent the studio for 3 hours. The band met at five in the morning at Gurras apartment to drink beer and then it was of to ‘Studio Marcus Musik’ in Solna, Stockholm. They managed to record and mix the album in the 3 hours they paid for and soon afterward the band had their first single in their hands. They ran to the nearest photo automatic to get pictures for a possible cover artwork. The first 300 were made copied with blue front cover and plain white backcover. Those first 300 copies were sold to friends and outside a concert at Grona Lund where they were opening for 999. When those were sold out the band did new covers for the remaining 200 copies. Those were black covers that had written lyrics on the backside. After this single the band become the biggest and most important of all Swedish punk bands. This is the version with blue cover Track listing: 1. Antirock 2. Profit 3. Ung Och Sankt
