A concentration of 80’s hard rock filled with rousing melodies and neoclassical atmospheres. The band features fantastic singer Bob Harris, who worked with Frank Zappa and Steve Vai and is actually part of the legendary band Axe. Jeff Scott Soto sings a duet with Bob Harris as well as most of the backing vocals on the album. Produced by Marcel Jacob (Talisman, Malmsteen) who has provided the album with a powerful sounding production. Keyboard player Alessandro Del Vecchio is the band member who gained most experience. In the past, he has worked with hotshots such as Tony Franklin, Glenn Hughes, Bruce Kulick, André Matos, Scott McGill, Patrick Rondat, Time Machine and others. The man who wrote all the lyrics for this debut album is guitar virtuoso Matteo Carnio, who reckons Yngwie Malmsteen and Ritchie Blackmore among his main influences. Rounding off the line-up are bass player Christian Grillo and drummer Francesco Jovino, who together form the firm backbone of Edge Of Forever. A high quality melodic hardrock album.
