Looking back on the long career of the band, who have sold more than 250,000 albums in more than 30 countries worldwide, the name Elegy might not have been the best one to choose, even though the dictionaries explanation is rock solid. Considering the ups and downs the band has gone through, the name has covered a lot for the past 17 years. Primal Instinct was an acoustic EP original released in 1996. It was the bands first release with Ian Perry on vocal. 4 of the 5 bonus tracks were recorded during an acoustic live session with just Ian and Henk that were recorded in Japan back in 1998
