Norwegian black metal band Enthral has shared members with Dimmu Borgir and The Flesh and their resumé includes four full-lengths. Having been around since 1996, they’ve had some style changes — from a more classical sound with cello and soprano vocals, they moved towards a style reminiscent of earlier Covenant and Satyricon. Their third album Subterranean Movement is a more complex and ambitious work that showed the band’s willingness to move from classically black metal territories. The album was peculiar when it was released back in 2003, far ahead of its time, reminiscent of the artistic vein of early Covenant.
