Entierro, a collective of Connecticut musicians that is focused on using the past to create something new. Their sound is focused on heavy drum and bass interplay, twin guitars, harmonizing over visceral riffs with dynamic, multi-layered vocals. Their music touches on NWOBHM, classic heavy metal, East Coast hardcore, bit of thrash and a touch of doom into captivating catchy songs. Their self titled debut album was released in 2018 and was called, One of the most recent masterpieces of the genre by Rock Hard Magazine while Shockwave Magazine wrote; It is a super-tight beast that brings back the golden age of heavy metal but also updates its sound with doom-laden bass. And dare I say some magnificently potent drumming. With Nightbitch drummer Dave Parmalee, Hour Of 13 live vocalist Chris Taylor, guitarist Christopher Begnal and original Fates Warning guitarist Victor Arduini this really is a group of musicians that possess the passion, musicianship, and intuitive songwriting skills to go places. Overall this is an album that mixes the weight of doom with melody and catchy riffs. Something similar to a Corrosion Of Conformity but heavier on the doom, and who can complain about that.
