Enuff Znuff from Chicago emerged in the waning days of glam metal. Their label wanted to push them as a glam metal act but their melodies and keen power pop smarts hewed more closely to artists like Cheap Trick, Elvis Costello, and Badfinger than the hair metal acts of the day. Their debut was released in 1989 and yielded charting singles like Fly High Michelle and New Thing both of which cracked the mainstream Top 40 charts. The bands sales however went down with their follow two albums and in the grunge era the band soon found themselves without a record deal. Several years later the band tried to get their rights to their early recordings. It looks like the band and Atco really didnt get on with solving this. Because when you buy the 1987 demos it sounds very much like the bands original studio recording and not so much like a demo. Maybe this is a way for the band to get back at Atco or maybe these are demos even if they sound very identical. No matter which the album still includes some of the bands best material
