Description

The Final Countdown was an album with serious lyrics married to a slick musical background. The album gave Europe enormous global success and the album sold in excess of quarter of a million in Sweden alone and six million copies world-wide. The follow up album ‘Out Of This World’ have lyrics just as serious, but the music is rawer, featuring more guitars and fewer keyboards. Ron Nevison produced this one, and his expertise shows in the way the album sounds and flows. The ballads are harder-edged this time around, as are the rockers. The album features the singles ‘Let The Good Times Rock’, ‘Superstitious’ and ‘Open Your Heart’ but also in my opinion the most engaging track ‘Ready Or Not’.
