Description
It took 12 years for the Swedish heavy metal act Evil Conspiracy to finally release their first full length album, Prime Evil, back in 2014. The band had been releasing several demos during the past ten years but it was when singer Fripper Eriksson stepped in that the pieces finally came together. Prime Evil was simple the best this band had ever sounded and they were finally a force to keep their eyes and ears on. Jump forward 8 years and its time for the bands third effort, The Demons Mark. Luckily the bands music hasnt changed much, sure there is a ballad at the end that shows that this band isnt afraid to progress, and the band performs their brand of music that takes the best part of the both the American and European scene. Influences from 90s acts such Morgana Lefay and Sanctury mixed with classic 80s metal are topped with Frippe Eriksson’s splendid voice. This is the third time in a row that the band has delivered a strong album. If you havent checked out this band before then now its definitely the time. Another highly enjoyable album with members from Arsenite, Chain Of Hate, Dripping Horror and Memory Garden.
