Description

2001 pressing on Morbid records

Satanic fueled Chicago death from Mike Eisenhaur ex-member of thrash act Numskull. This is Evil Incarnate’s debut, after the demo compilation release Blood of the Saints. Evil Incarnate play a slower, mid-paced galloping death metal with distinctive vocals. It is more of an attempt at a mosh rhythm way of playing in the way the music and songs give a wider depth and variety in the various speeds involved in the music, more then it is at a full-force attack. There is a wide and deep difference in styles if comparing Evil Incarnate with more speed and violate intense acts as Hate or Decapitated. Whether it shows subconciously or not, the thrash history of the band members plays a distinctive role in the current musical output projected by Evil Incarnate. The band write good, malicious, memorable death metal songs in the older school tradition of more simpler times, and they should be considered an expansion of the thrash/death metal infiltration that still exists in those who actually lived it.
