Exciter are still delivering intense hammer down metal with their 2010 album Death Machine. For this album Exciter have been working with long time producer Manfred Leidecker who produced all releases since 1990 (except for Thrash Speed Burn). The production compliments the grinding rhythms and speed that has held Exciter as one of the classic speed metal bands ever. In the studio we decided to record all the instruments and vocals at separate times, one at a time so we could focus on that one and only instrument so we could get the best sounds. As a result there is better definition on the overall production. The theme of this record is about sadistic unforgiving torture and the demented individuals who deliver such horrific pain and suffering.
